History

For over 40 years, On Location Education has served as the world’s premier educational consulting service for young performers. We offer complete coordination of on-set education and tutoring services for film, television, and theatre productions, as well as for child models, young athletes, recording artists, and children of celebrities or traveling business people. Since its inception in 1982 by founder Alan Simon, On Location Education has incorporated in nine states, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and has provided services on thousands of projects across the globe.

In order to provide a customized schooling experience, in 1995 the company founded The School for Young Performers, which provides one-on-one education for young performers, athletes, and those needing individualized instruction. The company has become a source of information and assistance for both parents and production companies.

On Location Education has evolved with each young performer it has served. The company provides a complete range of educational services to children in all segments of the entertainment and athletics industries, as well as private tutors for children of families whose professional commitments include extensive travel.

More than four decades after tutoring its first young actor, On Location Education continues to educate and empower young artists around the globe. And we’re just getting started.
