This Fall at OLE
Happy fall from all of us at On Location Education! We hope back-to-school is off to a great start and that you are staying safe and sound as the pandemic continues. We’re writing to let you know what’s happening at OLE as the entertainment industry begins to reopen and what to expect this fall on the OLE blog. Be sure to check back here, visit our Industry Updates page, and follow us on our social media to stay informed on all things entertainment and education while we navigate these unusual times.
BACK TO SCHOOL
School is in session at The School for Young Performers! Students across the country are returning to one-on-one learning through both in-person and virtual classroom constructs. Depending on the region and the state of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been able to provide our typical in-person instruction with the implementation of strict safety plans. Should there be the need to switch to virtual learning for the safety of both students and teachers, all students have a full virtual classroom setup in place so they won’t miss a beat this year. We’re incredibly grateful for our students, teachers, and staff for their participation in creating safe learning environments that are making individualized education possible this fall.
On Location Education is also proud to be providing virtual and in-person academic support services to students across the globe. While it isn’t an easy time to be an educator or to be educated, our students and teachers are defying the odds and putting in the work to ensure this school year does not go to waste.
Are you in need of some help with your child’s school work this fall, or interested in exploring other learning options for this year? Get in touch with us through our online form or at 914-747-2737 and we’ll be more than happy to help.
ON SET
Thanks to the tireless work of production companies, unions, safety experts, and government officials, productions have been able to resume in certain regions. On Location Education has been able to get set teachers and Child Labor Coordinators back to work in dozens of projects filming around the globe. Strict guidelines have been created to ensure the safety of all on set, and if you’re returning to work in entertainment, you may see our teachers and welfare workers wearing OLE face masks. They are there ensuring the education and wellbeing of the young artists on set.
Getting ready to return to production? We’re here and ready to help. Get in touch with us through our book a teacher form or by calling 914-747-2737.
